Annie is our very, very special miracle filly who was featured on the September 6, 2011 News of Note page.  She came to us extremely underweight and on the way to an uncertain fate.  Against high odds, she rallied and pulled through and has shown us all that a little dedication and perseverance can go a long, long way--her perky face and now chubby body are proof of that!

We're not sure how much, if any, formal training Annie has.  We bridled her for the first time to take her conformation pictures.  She's now healthy and ready to begin her education.  She's been to the round pen already, and is willing to work.  She's a pretty, floaty mover with a very pretty trot. 

This sweet girl is a joy to work with and was a star for the farrier (we even hot-shoed her without so much as a blink of her big brown eyes).  She loves to be groomed and doted on, and gets along with anyone and everyone she meets.

Annie continues to inspire all of us who know her with her giving nature.  Though I'd love to keep her around for myself, I know in my heart that the best thing for Annie is to be the shining light in her very own person's world.  Who ever she claims as hers is going to be one very lucky person!
