Bill's Fine Dancer
2004 Bay Mare

Diva was our first horse to come from the FLTAP program.  She had been a resident of their program for about four months before we brought her home--she had come in with a sore back and had been undergoing regular chiropractic work in the hopes of relaxing her over stressed and over tight muscles.

She spent her first two months at the house far enjoying some much needed peace and quiet in our back yard--away from the busy hustle and bustle of the main farm.  She finally told us she'd had enough by attempting to dig to China in her paddock, and we knew it was time for her to return to work.

We moved her to the main farm in September, and after ride one, our friend April decided she was going to be hers--and was therefore no longer for sale.  We pulled her off the sale page, and she became a permanent resident.

April and Diva are working hard with training, and though sidelined for almost two months with a knee injury, Diva is back to work and progressing well one day at a time.

Update:  April 15, 2010

Diva is in need of a new home.  April's busy EMT schedule has left her with not enough time to spend with her two horses.  Diva needs someone who has the time to spend with her while she continues her return to work.  Her knee has healed, but still has swelling that is left from the original injury--a puncture that happened about five inches above the knee and outside of the joint.

Diva is priced well below her potential value due to the continued swelling in her knee and April's need to find her a new home as soon as possible.

Update May, 2010

Diva's new name is Lydia, and she has a new mom.  Bree has taken on the project of furthering her rehabilitation and we hope for great progress, both with her physical health and her under saddle accomplishments.
