Bridget’s Sequel
15.2 Hand Chestnut Mare
Foal of 2000
SOLD!!!!
Bridget came to us in the fall of 2009 and found what we had hoped was a wonderful home early in the spring of 2010. Unfortunately her caring owner brought her back to us for boarding, and ended up abandoning her in our pasture. She returned to the farm in June and has been rebuilding condition since. She officially became ours again in September with a nod from the State, and is once again on the quest for a new family.
Bridget will make a wonderful project for a young rider or small adult. She has a bright, plucky personality and very much wants someone to call her own. Prior to her sale, she was working well under saddle at all three gaits and had started over small fences. She's a willing worker and a quick learner who comes out ready to work every time.
Please note that these pictures were taken last fall. We will post new ones when her condition has sufficiently improved!
Update December 8, 2010
Bridget has moved on to her forever home where we know for sure she's going to be cherished by Xander as they grow together. This pair has many years ahead of them--our special Bridget has finally found the love of her life. We can't wait to hear how they're coming along!
