Capri has been with her new family since just after the big snow storm in January.  She's come a long way, and is now working quietly under saddle and is a joy to be around.  Due to circumstances out of new mom Samantha's control, a move to Colorado is in order, and her horses (including Capri) can't go.

Capri joins us from Fingerlakes Racetrack, and has retired sound after a short and very unsuccessful career--she raced six times and never hit the board once, retiring with "winnings" of only $880.  Oh well!  We know she's on to better and brighter things.

This striking filly has a presence that brings to mind a much bigger, much more famous, and far more successful big bay racemare...  Queen Z she may not be, but she is, nonetheless, a beautiful girl with much to offer her new person.

Capri is sound with legs that are clean after her foray at the track--she has only a scar on her right foreleg that comes from a pasture accident as a baby.  She is easy to work around, and other than exhibiting the expected post-racing career angst that will leave in short order, she has no bad habits to speak of. 

This filly has been well cared for and is ready to go in any direction!
