Final Ballad
Five Year Old
15.3 Hand Mare
Crash is a stocky, broad chested young mare who never made it to the track. When she was three months old, she and her mother, Honky Tonk Ballad, were in a trailer accident. Sadly, her mother didn't survive the wreck, and in the infintely wacky way of coping that is so often found amongst horse folks, Crash was dubbed with her registered name and her nick name, both of which reference her unfortunate beginning.
Lucky for her, she was owned by a family that loved her, and rather than giving up on their now-orphaned baby, she stayed with the family until she moved in with us. It's reported that she's been on a hunter's pace or two and has a good bit of under saddle experience. Her outlook on life appears to be unmarred by her early history and she's a good traveller who offers her people no trouble with trailering.
Crash has had the best of care and is easy to work around and nice to handle. She's a little out of sorts at the moment--probably wondering what she did to end up here and wondering when her family will return, but she's very friendly in spite of her confusion and really seems to enjoy people.
She, like Demi and Mattie, came in during our icey weekend and will enjoy a week or two of adjustment before starting under saddle. Please contact us for pretraining pricing!
