Free to Sweep, or Sweeps as her trainer affectionately calls her is a big grey gal who is ready to retire from the track.  She's raced for a long time and hasn't had a win in close to two years.  Sweeps comes from the same trainer as Sidewinder, so we know she's been in a great home for at least her last several starts.  Her trainer tells me that she picked her just for me!  I can't wait to meet her.

Sweeps has had her first ride and is as fantastic as we imagined.  She's a lady both on the ground and under saddle.  Better news than this, though, is that Sidewinder's mom Meg was so taken with her race photo that she just had to have her, too!  She's staying in Georgia until August when she'll ship west to re-join her brother from the racing life!  We're so happy!!!!!
