Gerada's Song
16.3 Hand Bay Gelding
Foal of 2006
Song is one of the most elegant horses that we've had at A Pinch of Luck. All of his parts fit together so fluidly, and every momement he makes is graceful.
He comes to us from Fingerlakes, from the same trainer as Collected Debt, and he to has come south with a beautifully clipped coat (brrrrrrr, but oh, so pretty compared to the winter woolies of his travelling buddies!). This striking gelding has an endearing personality that very much matches his appearance. He quietly demands attention--and has learned real quick about peppermints!
Song was wonderful to prepare for his photos, and seemed to really enjoy being groomed. He lost a hind shoe in the trailer, and gave me no trouble pulling off the other and trimming both hind feet. He is very much a gentleman.
Song, like Collected Debt, raced unsuccessfully, and has retired with no wear and tear to be seen. His gaits are beautiful--we know he's going to be a fabulous mount for his new person in whatever discipline they choose.

Song has had two rides since joining us at A Pinch of Luck, and is enjoying some time off from work. He is a happy go lucky young guy with a lot of growing up to do. He is uncomplicated under saddle and willing for anything. He shows his youth in his curiosity--not a spook to be seen, but man can his neck get long when he's looking around!
Song gets along well with others and is uncomplicated to handle and be around. He's cheerful and easy, and is a total ham for visitors. With his sweet face, who could resist?
