Heavenly Pursuit has five on-the-board finishes and brought home almost $50,000.  Her connections now feel that it's time for her to move on to better things, and are sending her down to us to find her next career.  With her willing attitude and kind nature, her connections are sure that she'll be just as successful off the track as she was while racing.

Our friends who checked her out for us tell us that she is ultra-quiet and very, very sweet.  She's been well loved while racing, and is in good condition with nice clean legs.

We are excited to bring this whole group of young horses down, and hope to have them here by October 5th or 6th.  Stay tuned for updates!

Update October 16, 2010

Heaven has arrived from New York and is a wonderful filly with a lot to offer her new person.  She has had one ride so far, and was sensible and willing.  She's easy to work around and was a joy for our farrier to work on.  She stood like a lady, and never moved while he worked on her feet.

Heaven came down to us with feet that are going to require a bit of TLC--they have been crammed into too-small racing plates for some time, and though we had her put back in shoes, she will probably do best with some barefoot time to allow her feet to decontract.  Because of this, she is offered to the right person for the cost of her shipping.  She needs a knowledgable, willing new person to give her the time to correct herself. 

With her big shoulder and huge hip, she's going to be a beautiful mover when her feet feel better.  She has a sweet personality, and a bit of a sense of humor.  She's been great out in the field, and gets along well with everyone.  She's a big girl who should get lots bigger before she's done growing...  For the person who understands that good things come to those who wait, Heaven will be a good thing and then some!

Heaven, who will now be called Noorah (which means bright light has moved to her new home in South Carolina.  She joins our friend Shea and three other A Pinch of Luck graduates:  Brazen Action, Bridget's Sequel, and Perseverance.  We can't wait for updates on all four of these special horses!
