Heavenly comes to us from our friend Stacy at Fingerlakes.  We've been waiting for this cutie to join us since late summer, and she's finally here.  She's a pretty, floaty mover with a sweet demeanor. 

Heavenly is very easy to work around, and enjoys attention.  She hasn't quite figured out treats yet, but we know she'll learn--peppermints are flying out of here like crazy, and we're pretty sure she's going to join the rest of her traveling companion in gobbling them up before much longer.

She slid on her way up the ramp when she was loading to come south, and has a series of scrapes that we're treating on her left hind leg--pardon her shiny cannon bone.  They're just superficial, but you'll see a little swelling in the pictures!

Update December 17, 2010:

Heavenly, whose new name is Sweetie, is home with her family in Milton.  Her job going forward is to be
A-Number One companion the Cara-moo the pony and riding companion to new moms Devon and her daughter Daphne (who is only five).  Sweetie picked Daphne to be her very special person, and from the get-go, gave her kisses in her pretty blonde hair.  Dad Bill engineered her surprise arrival, and  he and Big Brother Blake were there to greet her with Devon and Daphne when she arrived. 

We look forward to lots of news of this sweet filly and her special new family as she adjusts to life as a member of this wonderful family.
