Piper came to us through an older trainer who also placed retired racers out of his farm near Fingerlakes Race Track. She came down on the same bus as Winning Argument, and after a rocky few months, moved in and stole Ashley's heart.
Piper has become a model mount for Ashley who graduated down in horse size from 16.3 to 16 hands--a good choice for her, since she's not much over five feet tall.
Ashley and Piper are one of our hardest working teams at A Pinch of Luck. They school four or five times a week, and have done countless shows, have cross country schooled, and have trail ridden all over. They are a fantastic pair, and are truly a perfect match!
