Congratulations to Megan, Stripes' new mom.  We've already gotten a picture of the two of them together during their first ride earlier this week!  We're so excited for this young team, and expect great things to come!  Congratulations Megan!  This is one sweet boy!!!

Stripes is the total package.  He sports excellent conformation, impressive size, and best of all, a beautiful mind.  This young gentleman is a personality replica of the handsome Strasse who never even made it to the website before being snapped up for a trip cross country to California.

Stripes is tattooed but was never started.  He, as is so often the case, had a "terminal case of the slows," and was retired before he started in a race.  His legs and feet are beautiful.  His conformation is near perfect.  He has been handled well, that is clear to see--he knows no stranger, has great manners, and should be a peach to train and enjoy.

For anyone looking for a beautiful, intelligent young horse to train into the discipline of their choice, there is not much finer a selection than he.  Stripes leads, ties, loads, and ships with ease.  He's good in turn-out, and is mannerly and easy in the stall as well.  His feet have been impecably cared for--there's no doubt he's good for the farrier, too.  We know he's well started under saddle--his tattoo gives this away.  That said, he won't be asked to do much while with us...  He's still a youngster, and with his size, he needs to work on maturing before he's put into any more heavy training.

We plan on a "test ride" in the coming weeks so we can gauge his knowledge of work under saddle.  Stay tuned for updates!!
