New Partners

When our retirees join us here in Georgia, we're never sure how long they'll stay.  Some have new families waiting for them when they get here and others may stick around as training projects for my students, as personal riding horses for me or for David, and some just need time to hang out and relax a bit.

The horses on the New Partners pages have all been a part of our family--they all go to new homes through us, not through their former trainers.  We take a lot of pride in being able to tell their new families what they're like first hand; this way no one has any surprises--we are confident in the horses we are placing and their new families feel like they know them already when they bring them home.

We work very hard to represent the horses as they are--if anything, they are advertised conservatively with regards to height and temperment.  If there is any question, we err to the side of caution.  We don't want anyone to make a trip to see a 17 hand horse, only to arrive to find one who's only 16.1.  Likewise, if there is a soundness issue, no matter how minor, we share it.  A behavior problem, it's told.  Our horses don't come with any attempt to hide who they are--there is a right home and family for every horse...  We take the time to find them.

The horses on the following pages are living testament to the glory that makes up the Thoroughbred horse and to the people who's lives they now share.
