Can you say, "Wow!"  This beautiful boy joined us for not much more than a week last fall.  He's now on to great heights!
Visit Newman Rocks' page for information about another GIANT BABY who is sure to be an amazing athlete!

Faye and I had a wonderful trip to New York where we had a chance to reconnect with several friends and several trainers who have sent horses to us in the past and several others who may send their retirees in the future.

It's always exciting to go to the racetrack (though we never made it front-side), and this trip was no exception.  The backside was hopping with horses ready to retire and we spent all day Thursday and Friday walking from barn to barn visiting with trainers and looking at horses.

Our new group is pretty diverse and has horses who have run as recently as a week or so ago to one who's been retired for over a year all ready.  We also are happy to say that there are once again geldings in the barn!  Whew!!  We've had a ton of fillies lately.

I'm so happy to report that Gebb's Glory has found a new family to call her own.  She's heading to South Georgia in the next week or so to begin life as a well loved companion and broodmare.  How perfect is that?  Goodness Gracious, Thegreatcrosby, Ishka, and Madame Bucheron have all had several suitors apiece in the last week, so we're excited about a new home for each of them being just around the corner.

The newbies will arrive later this week, and we'll post pictures as soon as we take them!  In the mean time, enjoy their action shots--they're fuzzy and not so clear, but at leas they're a good sneak preview!!
