Beau belongs to one of my students, and is hoping to find a new home since his mom Bethany was given Selah as a sixteenth birthday present--lucky girl!
Unlike most of our foster kids, Beau has a lot of training to offer his new person. He's sucessfully shown to 3'3 and has schooled 3'6 at home. He's also had some dressage training, and has been shown to First Level. He's a good worker with a great work ethic. He's able to rise to the occassion of his rider when asked, but is also quiet enough to take care of a less experienced rider, and has even been ridden by Bethany's mom.
Beau is sound with clean legs. He has no vices and is great for the vet and the farrier. He is current on Coggins and shots, and has recently seen the dentist, too. Beau is happy to live inside or out, and gets along well with his pasture mates.

I am thrilled to report that Beau has found a new home. He'll be joining our friend Gayle, first in Southern Georgia and then in Canada where he'll be learning all about becoming a field hunter. Gayle brings a lifetime of horse experience to the table, and is eagerly awaiting her coming partnership with this lovely gelding. We expect lots of photos and updates on their progress!
