Wheely never made it to the sale page!  He came down with his shoes recently pulled, and promptly decided that barefoot on our rocky, hard pastures was not for him.  Our farrier had a busy week, so Wheely stayed inside for several days, and was ready for work when his new silver slippers were nailed on.

His one and only guest decided to take him home.  Wheely was very much loved by his trainer, and was one of the early graduates of the FLTAP in New York.  He ended up back with his trainer, and then he came to us.  He's hunter's paced, done some local showing, and has been a pony horse.  He's unflappable, and the kindest, sweetest guy in his field.

We are so thrilled that Lauren found Wheely--we can't think of a better first horse...  And p.s. we owe special kudos to Brooklyn Betty's family for bringing Lauren to us--Wheely, who's new name will be Papa (because he's going to look after Lauren like a papa would according to Lauren) will be neighbors with Allie's Lil Betty!

Super excited about Papa Wheely coming I was wondering if he was coming on Sunday or Tuesday? Everyone at the barn is mad I waited....So Anytime that works for you tomorrow included works for me. I thought I could wait but each hour it gets a little harder and the fact my barn family is begging for his arrival...lol...Can't wait.
 
I just have one question why did you never list him on your site? I am glad you didn't, it makes me feel like you were saving him for me...lol...Just wondering!
