16.3 Hand Dark Bay or Brown Gelding

Darius came to us from our wonderful friend Bessie Sue as a special youngster just for me.  He has the world's best personality, and an outlook on life that we all should strive to have.  He is kind, willing, and generous of himself.  He's never met a stranger.

Unfortunately for me (due to lack of time for a greenie of my very own), and fortunately for him and our California friend Meg (mom also to Free to Sweep, Call Richie, and before either of them, Sidewinder), she got wind of yet another tall, dark, and handsome gelding here at A Pinch of Luck, and snapped him up before I could take a more recent picture than the one above--which was taken last winter for his Coggins.  Not his best shot!

This beautiful, near-black gelding has a work ethic to die for and the personality to match.  We know for sure that Meg is going to fall in love, and though everyone at the farm will miss him and his oh-so-special whinny very, very much, we know it's far better for him to have a job AND a doting fan club than a fan club alone!
