Tambo's Jazz Dancer

Tambo's Jazz Dancer
Nine Year Old
16.3 Hand Mare

Jazz came to me in early spring of 2009 to be my horse, not a sale horse...  but life changes, and in her case, it was learning about her past that clarified our present, and ultimately gave her the best of futures.

Just before Jazz moved to her new home with her new mom, I got a call from a man who took care of her along with Elmer, her owner and trainer before he passed away.  Jazz had been Elmer's princess--she had staff--Elmer and his friends John and Paula who took care of their only racer.  She lived the high life and didn't have to share her people.

When she came to me, I happened to have only one or two horses in for training, so she didn't have to share me either...  And then...  the masses started to arrive, and all of a sudden, I was still the focal point of her life, but she shared my focal point with seven or eight other horses.  And she did not like it.  Talking to John told me all about why Jazz was so unhappy...  Her life was great, but she wanted to be somebody's horse, not a part of a slew of horses.

Enter Ellie who had tragically lost her first horse and had finally found the courage to risk falling in love with another.  And for Ellie and Jazz, it was love at first sight.  She's now in dressage training, has been to her first event, and best of all, has her own person that she knows is at the barn only for her.  What could be better than that?
