A Pinch of Luck is proud to offer instruction and training through our two in-house trainers Kimberly Whitehead and Carolyn Duncan.  Kimberly brings to A Pinch of Luck over ten years of coaching experience and specializes in creating safe, well-rounded riders.  Her students learn at their pace without a push to compete or buy a horse of their own.  Carolyn brings to A Pinch of Luck extensive show and training experience in the hunter and Arabian horse worlds.  Her students enjoy riding for fun, and many also enjoy the excitement of the shows that they regularly attend.

Riding is a perfect opportunity for individual expression--Kimberly's riders have the choice of learning an English or Western discipline, and may chose to advance themselves through trail challenges, working over fences, or learning the basics of the Western "games" events.  For those seeking a bigger goal and the thrill of regular competition, Carolyn with happily take riders to new heights!

Our school horses are carefully selected for personalities and traits that make them suitable for teaching beginner through intermediate riders.  They are owned by A Pinch of Luck as well as Carolyn, Kimberly, and several of the farm's boarders.  Instruction is tailored to the individual, and advancement is determined by students' aptitude and learning speed.  There is no push to progress at a pre-determined pace.
