Well, as often happens when we give a horse a barn name right after he arrives, the name we picked doesn't match the horse to whom it's been given.  So, Teddy has morphed into Noah since his first amazing ride last w0eek.  He was absolutely beautiful under tack, worked on a loopy rein, and impressed April to no end with his willingness to work, and the happiness that she felt in him as he went through his paces.

This neat guy is ready to go for anyone.  He knows both of his leads, was willing to go where pointed (including over ground poles and a few tiny jumps), and is a beautiful mover to boot!!

Come meet Noah--a teddy bear he may be, but Noah is the name that's stuck!!

Teddy came to us a week ago Sunday from The Truck.  He's a handsome, sweet young gelding with a happy outlook and a nice temperament to be around.

We've given him the week to settle in and plan on beginning his training in the coming days.  He retired sound and clean-legged from the track and should be ready to go in any direction soon, if his ground manners and ease of workability around the barn are any indicators.

Teddy has a beautiful, typey head with a very kind expression.  He has nice bone and nice feet, too.  He is a very fancy mover and should be suited to an athletic career in just about any direction.
