Queenie has made the move to the main farm and is settling in. She's the proud wearer of four new shoes (she was fantastic for the farrier) and will begin work soon. She's happy to be in a busier environment and enjoys the daily goings-on around the barn.
She is very easy to work around and enjoys being bathed and groomed. Queenie loves meal times and is our best equine hoover on the farm--she can make hay disappear like it was never there!

Queenie has been with us in Georgia since late February, and has enjoyed some quiet time at our house farm just hanging out and relaxing. She's a beautiful mare with huge, expressive eyes, a kind demeanor, and a very trusting nature.
She has wonderful feet and tremendous bone. She was her trainer's favorite, and is very much missed on the backside, but it was time for her to retire at the top of her game instead of filtering down through the claiming ranks.
Queen's paternal sister, Lithos Beach is a successful show hunter who has also shown a keen interest in the challenges of eventing. Updates on Queenie's retraining progress soon to follow!
